Hi we're going to talk about how you can make healthy cooking more enjoyable okay so I know cooking is not for everybody some people just don't like it I did not like cooking at all even know how to boil a potato till I turn 22 pretty bad pretty bad right so I can learn to enjoy cooking I am sure you can too so I'm going to share my top 7 tips to make healthy cooking more fun so let's get started tip number one get inspired okay so you know how you cook and every week in making the same thing I do that all the time you get into a rut to get out of the rut get inspired by God inspired I don't mean you need to go and follow someone else's recipe to a tea because getting inspired is about getting ideas from other people not following recipes to it at least that's how I view my favorite places to get inspired are YouTube obviously I'm on YouTube so I love pick up lines and I'll of Mind Over Munch great Channel a lots of lots of great ideas for healthy eating so I would suggest you start there now if you're looking for something else can trust is a great option and my third and actually my most favorite is cookbooks my favorite cookbook is joyous Health it's by a holistic nutritionist called Joy McCarthy and she has really great recipes to start out at and I think if you're a beginner and you're just starting to eat healthy this is a great book to start off tip number to music okay I didn't have to sing that but big difference the Ambiance of the kitchen to every night I'm playing something different sometimes the Spanish Pop I don't even know Spanish but I like it and some nights Bollywood some nights at spa music anything and everything goes it's just something to pass the time in the kitchen and to make it more fun and honestly if you listen to some upbeat music some dance music while you're cooking and you down to a little bit you're going to burn in calories so you know I I like to do that once in awhile or once in awhile when my husband is not watching I don't want to seem crazy tip number 3 give yourself a break okay so even if you love cooking cooking every night can feel like a chore eventually break once or twice a week if you need to but I like to do is instead of ordering in which by the way I do we got it all live a little instead of doing that every single week I like to cook extra boxes of food on the weekend and then freeze it and then I can just defrost that meal and I have something home-cooked and ready to eat that is the best part for make your kitchen more convenient all right so I know this is easier said than done a couple hours of organizing your kitchen and decluttering your kitchen will make it a better space for you to let me paint you a picture let's say you were at work and your desk has a lot of clutter and can't find any documents that you need you can't find a pen that works and the phone phone is ringing off the hog is too stressful isn't it so the same thing about your kitchen if your kitchen isn't the functional space if you got clutter everywhere if you have tools that you don't use any they don't work it's on fun space to use so we got to make it fun so the way to make it fun is to get rid of all the things that you don't use tip number 5 and this is my favorite trip by the way experiment with herbs and spices herbs and spices can transform your cooking so healthy cooking gets a bad rap people think it's boring it's bland if you add her herbs and spices you can make anything tastes a lot better so my suggestion would be go check out Pinterest go check out a few recipe poke Sky different flavor combinations and learn how to use these herbs and spices in your cooking and you will like you're cooking a lot better and you don't need to spend a lot of money sometimes just the basics are enough I want to give an example of a meal that I took at the hots for brunch so my husband makes eggs and veggies for brunch and if I just do salt and pepper it's to make it exciting what can you do when you could add so many different things so let's say I'm in the mood for Indian I can add some garam masala some chili powder maybe a little bit of garlic and ginger I'm in the mood for Mexican I can add chipotle pepper human going it's just eggs and veggies but you can make it exciting with her herbs and spices tip number 6 make your own condiments sauces and dressings so one of the first things I did when I started eating healthy was to toss all those pre-made salad dressings and sauces because there's too much sugar into any additive and processed oils so they all have to go but that meant I didn't have anything to add to my meals I know hurts and spices can go a long way but sometimes you need the extra punch so let's say I have a quinoa salad with veggies that is going for a process product I can make my own sauce so I left to make this really really quick sauce it's a roasted red pepper sauce I don't ghost the red peppers myself because that would take forever I buy Jarred roasted red peppers and then I add hemp seeds lime juice chili powder and a little bit of salt and pepper and half a clove of garlic and Blended up really quick and easy and have a beautiful thought that I can drizzle over my quinoa salad tip number seven tackle those dishes okay so this is not related to the cooking part but let me tell you for me cooking is not that bad it's the dishes the mountain full of dishes that I got to do at the end of the night I don't like it and if I can do anything to make it easier I'm going to do it so now whatever I have a free moment let's say I'm waiting for something for something to Brown to dishes so there you have it 7 tips to me cooking more enjoyable I hope some of these work for you.
